Today, and
tomorrow, December 1, 2018, are the last two days of the three-part
extravaganza: The Masters: The Art Students League, Teachers and Their
Students. It takes place at three New York City locations: The League, Gallery 511, and Hirschl &
Adler.

Bacon, Will Barnet, Thomas Hart Benton, Isabel Bishop, Dorothy Dehner, Ben
Shahn, Harry Sternberg, and so many others are included. We were pleased to
be able to play a small part.

Bacon’s Swiss
Restaurant, 1918, depicts a popular ‘hangout’ near the League. Judging by the
coats and hats, it was a cold day, just a hundred years ago.
