St. Louis Fair, Blanche Grambs Memorial

Fred Shane, Happy Stump, 1938

Back in the Gallery from St. Louis.  The Mercantile Library fair was wonderful. In spite of the rain the event was amazingly well attended. In particular there was interest in work by Michael J. Gallagher, Joe Jones, and Fred Shane.

Yesterday, May 19, was the Memorial for Blanche Grambs at the National Arts Club. It was a lovely tribute. It is still incredible that she was able to help curate our show, and even to insist on the title: Blanche Grambs and Her Fellow Artists
